About the Role

Working within the Business Productivity team, the Technical Services Officer is responsible for optimising the productivity of Regional Australia Bank staff through the use of desktop and mobile technologies. Providing superior internal customer service through the maintenance, enhancement and efficient operation of technology functions, the role includes responsibility for ensuring the security and integrity of computer operations and systems development in accordance with Regional Australia Bank's strategic and technology plans and regulatory responsibilities.

Skills & Experience

Ideally the successful candidate will work with a variety of audiences while providing the first point of contact for all regional Australia Bank staff across the network. This role will have the ability to troubleshoot and rapidly resolve hardware, network and software configuration issues, manage service desk tickets, ensure system and data security is maintained; set priorities, plan workloads, meet deadlines and achieve the objectives of the department.

The successful applicant will be able to communicate efficiently and effectively with management and staff members of Regional Australia Bank; they will be able to develop, foster and maintain effective networks by displaying confidence and using well developed communication skills. They will be able to adopt and adjust to change and its processes.

How to apply

To be successful in your application you will have strong hands on experience administering Microsoft desktop and server platforms/applications, demonstrated interest in technology, experience with service desk administration and advanced problem solving skills;

You may also have some experience working in a financial institution; familiarity with operating in a highly regulated environment and previous experience in a technical service delivery role.
